I am an Assistant Professor of Business Administration (Information Systems and Technology Management) at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Business. I earned my PhD in Computers and Information Systems from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester. My research explores how digital platforms and AI shape trust, foster collaboration, and enhance collective well-being within socially embedded contexts. Specifically, my research interests include social media, social justice in digital contexts, knowledge engagement and diffusion in electronic networks of practice, and human–AI interaction. My work has been published in leading Information Systems journals such as Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly, and the Journal of Management Information Systems. At Pitt, I teach courses on technology-enabled business transformation, data science, and AI.
My research has received several prestigious awards, including the 2023 ISS Bapna-Ghose Social Justice Best Paper Award and the AIS Best Information Systems Publication in 2022 Award. In 2021/2022, I received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the University of Pittsburgh School of Business. As a Senior Member of INFORMS since 2024, I am committed to advancing the field of Information Systems through both scholarship and service.
